Wyatt Wong — Founder & Executive Director

Wyatt Wong is a 14-year-old ninth grader who has been playing chess for eight years. He has achieved a peak rating of 2104 and holds the title of US Chess National Expert, reflecting both his strong competitive skill and deep understanding of the game. Wyatt’s dedication, discipline, and passion for chess drive his continuous improvement, and he brings that same focus and enthusiasm into teaching. He is patient, encouraging, and committed to helping students build confidence, think critically, and develop a genuine love for chess.

Zoe Wong – Co-founder & Program Director

Zoe Wong has been playing chess for seven years and is currently 12 years old and in 7th grade. With a current and peak rating of 1651, she brings both strong playing experience and a thoughtful approach to teaching. Zoe is a US Chess Class B level player. As a co-founder & program director, Zoe is patient, encouraging, and attentive to each student’s needs, helping make lessons engaging, clear, and enjoyable for players of all levels.

Jeremy Liu — Program Coordinator

Jeremy Liu is a 14-year-old student and dedicated scholastic chess player who has been playing chess for several years. He has achieved a peak rating of 1352, reflecting his strong understanding of core chess principles, strategic thinking, and consistent competitive experience. Through tournament play and regular study, Jeremy has developed solid calculation skills and an appreciation for thoughtful, disciplined play.
